Hard Hitter Program #2
As you would imagine, Program #2 is a progression from Program #1.
A number of the exercises you see in this program will be slightly more technically challenging but the general structure and theme remains the same.
The program is comprised of three 4-week blocks, all of which are 3 sessions/wk. There are typically two heavy sessions and one moderate intensity session for most blocks.
The first two blocks in this program revolve around general preparation, comprising of three accumulation (building) weeks and one intensification (peaking) week. The final block is a more specific training period designed to ideally lead into a mini-taper for a competition.
N.B. For professional fighters or those combatants who compete full-time, this program would be better utilised during an off-camp preparation period leading into a typical 6-8 week fight camp.*
